Guided by instinct. Shapes appear. Chaos meets structure. The room goes quiet, and I’m just there.
Music on. The energy I feel in the moment is transferring to the canvas.
Some of it happens live. In hotels, at restaurant openings, launches, weddings, private dinners. Guests watch a painting arrive over the course of the night.

Behind the Scenes
Art is messy, and the process of creating it is just as fun as the finished artwork. Preparing for the Helix Art Space performance I went out in the forrest to create with the calmness surrounded by the trees.
UNCOMFORTABLY HUMAN
As a continuation of my Helix Art Space performance UNCOMFORTABLY HUMAN, I continue to work towards raising awareness of mental health and its importance.
We must talk about the hardships; it is okay not to feel at your best all the time. Speaking up about your feelings takes a lot of bravery. If you are hurting, know that you are not alone. There is help to get.
I miss you, Lydeke. I would not be where I am today if it weren’t for you.
